We are innovators in our field by providing compensated internship experiences next to none.
Our internship program is offered in all of our offices for approximately 8 to 12 weeks in
the summer (June to August) and the winter (January to April). The program is open to
undergraduate students majoring in accounting (3rd and 4th year) and accounting graduate
students. Participants should be planning to enter the public accounting profession and
to pursue their CPA certification.
Each specific internship experience is designed to meet individual professional interests
and location preferences. The internship begins with orientation and team building
exercises where we bring the interns from all of our offices together in one location
for several days. During orientation, each intern is introduced to their mentor who
will guide them throughout the internship.
Interns then report to their assigned offices and team up with Johnson Lambert & Co.
professionals on a variety of actual client engagements. In addition to client assignments,
each intern will participate in several projects designed to provide career preparation and
introduction to the business aspects of public accounting. Social activities are scheduled
throughout the internship.
The internship comes to a close as the interns from all of the offices are brought back
together for several days of socialization and sharing of experiences. Approximately 80% of
our interns are offered and accept full-time positions with Johnson Lambert & Co. at the
conclusion of the internship program.
Johnson Lambert & Co.’s internship program is very selective and fills up quickly.
Applicants for the internship program are encouraged to apply as early as possible, but no
later than March 1 (for summer internship) and November 1 (for winter internship).
Students interested in Johnson Lambert & Co.’s internship program are also encouraged to
apply to participate in our externship program
six to 12 months in advance of desired participation in the internship program.
