She has an extensive background in public accounting, having served not-for-profit organizations since 1987. Her experience includes audits involving a variety of not-for-profit organizations and associations, tax return preparation and planning, various types of consulting, including operational efficiency reviews, federal grant compliance and reporting, ratio comparisons, drafting of accounting policies and procedures, drafting of compliance materials for new accounting pronouncements, various agreed upon procedures and evaluation of internal controls. Before joining Johnson Lambert & Co., Audrey was employed with Ernst & Young where she served as the program leader of their audit approach for the audit professionals. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Association Executives and the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives. She is a frequent speaker on topics relating to accounting, technology and human resources. Audrey graduated from Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
